Hi, all,

I (a traveling United States citizen ) was fortunate enough on recent Europe business trip to visit your very large HO model railroad at Minature Wonderland on November 5, 2005.

I spent the day there, and took a series of 'you-are-there' layout tour
photos, which can be seen at:

Your layout is incredible; detailing, moving automobiles, figures, full
night time lighting are in remarkable. It is very interesting to see how your European perspective characterized the United States model railroad scenes.

As a US citizen, I think there is something remarkable about German and European culture that facilitates creation of a model railroad of this size. I rather believe that in the United States, something like your Minature Wonderland is unlikely to happen. We as US citizens and audiences probably have too many distractions and probably not enough group passion and group determination to create an ongoing, self-funding enterprise such as yours. I congratulate you, and wish you much continued success.

As one of the more aktive Forumparticipants, I always find it interresting when someone outside Europe present his view of the MiWuLa
Als eine von die mehr aktiver Forumsteilnehmer, finde ich es immer interressant , wenn ein nicht europeer sein Eindruck von das MiWuLa presentiert .I have yet to study your pictures, right now I write because I have a somewhat different impression of the modelrailway szene in the USA. The USA is naturally big and maybe the model railway enthusiasts are not so many percentagewise but you and the others exist and there are several modelrailways on display, more or less commercially orientated, although the MiWuLa now is the biggest in the world.
Ich habe noch nicht deine Bilder studiert, momentan schreibe ich nur weil ich ein anderer Eindruck von die Mobaszene in die USA haben. Die USA ist zwar gross und vielleicht sind die Mobaenthusiasten nicht so viele pro cent aber Ihr sind ja da und es gibt auch mehrere in verschiedene weise kommersielle Ausstellungsanlagen obwohl das MiWuLa jetzt der grösste in der Welt ist.

Meine Händlerin sagte gestern das das INternet viele Mobaenthusiasten von Einzelgänger zu Hause ins Gruppenmitgleder im Internet transformiert haben.

PS I have now looked at your pictures and find them very nice . They have also a different approach than most "besucher Photos" as well as the "Profi" photos. Therefore I strongly suggest that you upload them to the "Besucher photos" gallery, but with a less conspiquous copyright text. It looks like one of the owners,
By the way: Gerrit Braun is in the background on picture 7.
PS Ich habe deine Bilder jetzt angeschaut und finde sie sehr gut. Sie sind auch von ein andere Perspektive als die meiste "Besucher " sowohl als die "Profi" Bilder aufgenommen. Deswegen will ich am starksten vorschlagen das du die Bilder zu das "Besuchergallerie" uploaden, obwohl nicht mit ein so deutliches copywrite text. .
Übrigens: Es sieht so aus als Gerrit Braun im Hintergrund am Bild 7 zu sehen ist.

very nice Pictures. And I hope you had a wonderfull day in the Miniatur-Wunderland. But this Pictures are very large. Could you your Postings edit and make the Pics smaller or easier: show simply the Links of the Pics.
Not everyone here in the Community has a fast Internet-Line.

You can show your pics here, too. Your Photos are wonderfull, a small cut about the Miniatur-Wunderland.

Ich bin nicht deiner Meinung. Wenn es um dieser Bildqualität handelt ist es richtig hier die Bilder direkt zu zeigen.
Ich reise auch heute mittelst ein langsamer Modem auf das Internet.
Wenn die Bilder so gut wie hier sind möchte ich alle zusammen sehen um daswischen schnell wechseln können.
Links und/oder das Bildergallerie ärgert mir deshalb mehr weil jeder Bild ein beträchtlicher Weile dauert bis ich es sehen kann.
Trotz dem ich es dann schon heruntergeladet haben muss ich dass führ jeder Bildwechsel erneut machen.
@Björn: Obwohl ich Schwede und nicht Amerikaner bin habe ich wohl Englisch bis auf der Uni studiert.
Du brauchst dir nicht für dein Englisch entschuldigen. Es ist ganz ausreichend ungefährlich (:oops: noch ein Schwedisches Wort die es nur teilweise auf Deutsch gibt. Ich wollte zirka = ungefähr schreiben.) korrekt.
Möglicherweise sollst du auf die Wortfolge aufpassen. Wie du aus mein Zweisprachiger Beitrag oben vielleicht sehen kann ist die Wortfolge ins Deutsch often umgekehrt als "in English" (und "i Svenska").
Die ins Deutsch herrkömmliche Wortfolgen gibt es auch in Schwedisch, darin sind sie allerdings nicht in die Umgangssprache verwendet.
Das führt täglich zu neue Schwierigkeiten wenn ich hier ins Forum schreiben.
