In many forums a new member who only want to sell something is not welcome because the admins there are interested in new members who writes a lot of posts. "Selling only"-members are often "dead" members because they are not interested in communication with other members about model trains, technics or different problems around the model trains. Marketplaces in some forums are often opened only for members who wrote a specified number of (helpfull) posts. If someone like you is only interested to sell it's items, this person should better use eBay or another internet selling platforms. Or you place offers in model railroad magazins. I do not know forums which are open for "selling only" members. Sorry, but I think you must search another way to offer your trains.

dear stephan,
thanks. I do agree fully in what you write. But let me express also from my side some considerations.
Sometimes, a collector or modeler and so on, for many reasons does not find time to post and to follow up post on forums becasue of many reasons like having a family, job, and so on. Then it come the time to sell what he has at home and i find interesting for people who share the same passions to offer first to them. it is a double way interests. understand what i mean?
prices on ebay are higher becasue of fees and commissions that might be saved from collectors of forum.
ths is the fact.
anyway, regardless the different point of view, it is interesting to have other opinions

))
thanks !
