Wake question about model boats

Amazing exhibition by the way.
My friends and I had one question though.
Would the scale of the wake that the boats in the real water of the Scandinavian section be too scale or would they be wrong in relation to the scale of the boats/exhibition?

Hi!

The ships are 1:87 (or even smaller, I don’t know) but the water is still 1:1. The wake and the waves will move too fast and cannot look real.

They used a 1:10 submarine model for the movie "Das Boot" - but all those scenes were taken in slow-motion to slow the waves down for a realistic impression.
