English information about the Smallest Airport - Knuffingen
Verfasst: Samstag 8. Oktober 2011, 12:11
I was wondering if there is any information about Knuffingen Flughaven?
I am interested in the DVD if a copy is available in english (and NTSB Video Standard).
I realize that Germany is on the PAL Standard (I used to have a TV that worked in PAL and NTSB - I bought it while I was in Germany. Now it is gone, it broke and I couldn't get parts to fix it.. darn).
...
I lived in Ulm Germany in the 1980's... Really enjoyed Germany. I have a few really good friends in Germany, Wilfred Fischer (Alsenbach - near Ulm, Germany - Owned Duffi Electonix in Ulm in the 90's), Peter Shutz (Bochum, Ge, owns the American Car Company There), and Her Schmidt (WMF Crystal factory, Goerppingen, Ge - near Turkheim Village, Ge)..
...
I would live to come and see your Miniatur Wonderland the next trip to Germany. I enjoyed spending a lot of time at the Sinsheim Technic Museum at Sinsheim, Ge while I lived in Germany for the 9-short years that I lived there.
...
Your miniature airport intrigues me. I was wondering how you built the landing gear drive units. If I am correct - it looks like the carbon fiber planes are pulled by the front landing gear? Is this correct?
..
I am also intrigued by the software and lighting controllers. Has Gerrit published any technical articles?
..
Please pass this question on to Gerrit - I would love to hear from him.
