Motorumbau Märklin F800

Beitrag von tombjo » Donnerstag 3. September 2009, 19:03

Hallo freunde,
I write in English beacuse it's not so difficult for me.
I have an old loco Märklin F800 and I want to change the 3-pol LFCM motor to 5-pole motor with permanentmagnet. Does anyone know if it's possible and what parts do I need.

Greetings from Sweden

Hej...

There is no 5-pole rotor available for the LFCM...

You could change it to a permanent-magnet stator though, so it would run and change direction on DC.

Btw: what do you want to achieve with this conversion?

Hejdâ,
Martin

Hej Martin,
in the meantime I found a 7-teeth rotor (214118) and a fieldmagnet (210882) and they fits in the loco. But now I can't find a motorshield suitable for the F800 :(
I wan't a better moving F800 and a more silent one. :)

Have a look at this:

http://www.mec-brunsbuettel.de/Maerklin ... Seite1.htm

Two different motorshields are offered (210881/214121) as part of the conversion kit 60904 - but the F800/3008 is not in the list below...so you could have a try, but there is no guarantee they fit.
