How much does it cost to keep minatur wunderland running? Like staff wages, maintenance, power costs etc.

How much does it cost to keep minatur wunderland running? Like staff wages, maintenance, power costs etc.

The staff wages and other personal cost reach more than 5 Million Euros.
Years ago, the CEO told us, that he has to pay a half million Euros per year to repair the lay out. Today it will be much more I think.
I heard that they have to pay 2 Million Euros as material costs per year.

Energy in 2005: 800000 kWh, i believe, now it will be much more than 1 million kWH.
The whole energy is "clean energy" (Wind,water,Photovoltaik).

These statements are estimations and i don`t know if they are correct.

If you were to do the same with your layout at home or the layout which you display on the british Exhibition tour:
"You": 2 sqm / MiWuLa: 1.300 sqm gives us a ratio of 1:600

2 M€ / 600 = 333,33 € or 2727 GBP per year for the upkeeping alone.
That is ambitious.
