It has been an absolute joy reading through these posts. I spend several hours last night looking up all of the suggestions on Google Maps and trying to get a plan together - I really hope I can get to the Drachenfels Railway in Bonn - this looks great.

I think I should be able to visit most of the places in this thread - except Inverness!

I have had a truly wonderful few days in Germany. I have not done half the things I wanted to do though - a good reason to come back soon.

I will post photos when I get home, but as I sit in a hotel at Berlin Airport drinking a very nice German beer I wanted to take a moment to say - the BIGGEST thanks to everyone who sent me such great advice and helped to make this trip so special.

Wanted to ask you when you are in Wuppertal to meet, but then got an invitation here in Hagen and the weekend was over much to quickly. Sorry!

But I am sure we will meet another time... maybe in Wuppertal, maybe in Cologne or maybe in Hamburg some day.
Will we see a video from you taking a driving lesson and counting thousands of "wrong way drivers" on German Autobahn?
